Nach einer gewissen Zeit des Atmens kommt eine Note von schwarzen Johannisbeeren, Waldbeeren und etwas Heu sowie einer schwachen W\u00fcrze, die im Verlauf immer kr\u00e4ftiger wird, aus dem Glas. Am Gaumen gibt er sich geschmacklich erstaunlich sanft, was auch f\u00fcr die ebenso sanften Tannine gilt. Hier setzt sich eine leicht erdige Geschmacknote fort und kombiniert sich mit etwas Vanille. Dabei bleibt er jedoch vordergr\u00fcndig fruchtig. Der Abgang ist ebenso sanft wie der Gaumen, sodass der Tropfen den Mund mit einer leichten W\u00fcrze verl\u00e4sst.
